MMM Scholarship

sQuareOne is giving two emerging media makers the opportunity to receive a vital creative toolbox-the essentials to get their project made.

Projects for the MMM Fund come in all shapes and sizes.

It could be a podcast, vodcast, zine or documentary. A short film, design project, website or projection piece.

• A free 3-month residency
  

• Mentorship with an industry professional
  

• Online access & full office facilities
  
• Professional software applications, such as Final Cut Pro Studio 2, Photoshop, Illustrator & DVD Studio Pro.
• $500 cash support
  
• Printing & photocopying subsidies
  
• Helpful staff & a buzzing, creative community.

Selection criteria

Applicants must:

• Be aged between 15-30.

• Commit to working from sQuareOne two days per week during a three month residency.

• Demonstrate the ability to develop their project.

Projects must:

• Be media-based

• Be achievable within the 3 month residency -
  May to August 2008

• Engage the wider youth community
