Background

sQuareOne is a project of independent non-profit youth media and arts organisation Vibewire Inc. Vibewire exists to create communications platforms that facilitate and encourage young Australians aged 15 to 30 to express themselves on the issues that matter to them.

Vibewire is a non-partisan organisation. Our role is not to convince people to think in a particular way but rather to inspire them to think more deeply about the issues which affect them and engage more fully with cultures and decision-making processes as active citizens.

Vibewire runs the youth media portal Vibewire.net (www.vibewire.net) and has initiated many innovative projects including the Reelife Short Film Festival, ElectionTracker, e-Festival of Ideas, Go Magazine and the Interface Anthology.

Vibewire is supported by over 300 volunteers in five states and both territories.
