Shakthi sees the arts as a space where imagination and investigation can meet
with ideas of social justice, philosophy and politics, to form accessible,
arresting and distinctive outcomes. He is the founder and director of CuriousWorks.
Through this company he develops 3 year creative projects that utilise diverse
genres, generations and communities to build works for the stage and screen.
Within this, CuriousWorks runs distinctive community arts projects that pass
on creative and technical skills in order to make a sustainable difference
to a community. Personally, Shakthi also composes and produces his own music
and film and works with other organisations as an arts/media consultant, administrator,
researcher, writer, visual artist and sound designer/producer.
